Pushdown

A pushdown creative is an expanding ad that pushes down the content of a webpage when the creative expands, moving the site elements out of the way to display the ad. Pushdown creatives are desktop browser-only and can't be served in mobile apps. TW and BTN support a 970 x 66 pushdown size in addition to the 970 x 90 standard.

For Northstar hosted HTML5, creative must abide by our HTML5 Guidelines. See General Guidelines for additional information. Northstar will not provide video metrics on 3rd party hosted creative.
If you would like Northstar to animate on your behalf, provide static jpgs (970x90/970x66 and 970x415) and URL 10 days prior to issue date.


Leaderboard

Leaderboard ads are 728x90 banners defined as a standard IAB unit, hence they are supported by most major ad serving companies. These units tend to be the first thing users see as Leaderboards tend to be placed at the top of a page, hence the term “leader.” Leaderboard ads can either be static images or interactive expandables that feature user-initiated audio and video.
