Size Limit:

  • HTML5: 200 KB max initial load; 300 KB subload

File weight calculation: All files for the ad (.html, .js, .css, images, etc.) must be included as part of the maximum file weight calculation for all file load limits. Shared libraries are also included as part of the file weight calculation.

Expansion Requirements:

  • Expansion must be user initiated on click.

  • Expansion must click to close or close on mouse-off.

  • Control: “Close X” on expanded panel and “Expand” on collapsed panel. Location: On Edge.

Video Expandable Ads:

  • Audio Starts with Video after User Initiation

  • Video: Minimum 24fps. Resolution 240x180 or greater.

  • Preferred file formats: *.mpg, *.avi, *.flv, *.mov and *.mp4.

  • Length: 30 sec. up to 1 min max

  • Video Controls: Play, Pause, Rewind, Volume.

Interactive Expandable Ads:

  • Lead Gen Fields(5 or less recommended)

  • Tabs with content and titles(5 or less)

  • Tabs can be the following:

1) Video Playing Tab which contains a video player with gallery if applicable, and short text describing the videos.

2) Photo Gallery Tab which contains a photo max 5 photos to be shown.

3) Lead Gen Tab which contains all the lead gen fields and instructions as to what they are signing up for.

4 and 5) Generic Tab which can contain text,images,logos relating to tab title. max 2 images per tab and text.

    If Designed by Northstar: Include Video and/or Interactive elements as described above. Please also include maximum 25 words of text.

    Logo/additional images: 72dpi or greater, lossless quality images (or high quality JPEG), preferred file formats - *.png, *.eps, *.tif, *.pdf, *.jpg, *.ai.
